National Mission Programmes

Active participation in the Rajiv Gandhi National Drinking Water Mission. Besides the safety evaluation of the drinking water in over 3000 villages in 13 states, the Institute has developed a portable Water Analysis Kit and a Mobile Laboratory Van for water quality analysis. Currently, the Institute is serving as the North Zone Regional Centre of the Rajiv Gandhi National Drinking Water Mission.

Significant contributions have been made in the National Mission on Edible Oils and Pulses, Ganga Action Plan and monitoring of water quality of major river systems under the sponsorship of national and international agencies.
